UW Senior Capstone Project Sponsored by Emprexx Presents Final Design Review
The University of Washington senior capstone project on UAV use in precision agriculture, sponsored by Emprexx Aerospace, presented its final design review Wednesday.
The review marks the completion of months of work by the team, which developed a fixed-wing UAV to make crop spraying and seeding more efficient.
Emprexx Engineering Manager and UW alumnus Paul Thomas worked with the team, which applied for an FAA CoA and ran flight tests.
The project helped UW make Dronethusiast’s list of the 16 best drone universities.
Emprexx attended the FDR, including President and Chief Engineer Bill Isaak, Director of Finance and Administration Christophe Carter and McComas.
